Brokenness

M.E.M.

Your brokenness within has been contained long enough!

You can't bear it any longer,

not alone you can’t.

I surrender my strength to you.

Lighten your load,

you are not alone in this world of cruelty—

among people and animal alike.

I have seen you break before

it left behind scares I do not wish to see on you again.

They make you imperfect,

yet all you are to me is perfect.

If you just take my strength,

just a little and you will feel better.

No!

Walk no further.

I stand behind you, beside you.

I trust you.

You don't have to go through anymore turmoil.

I’m not the only one that will lose you.

Not even your family.

Your family will lose a son,

their blood line will end if you end.

You are not the only one

who has brokenness.

I am broken too—

you see.

You don’t have to leave.

Just don't leave—

Please.
