Ink forged: Soulmates

L. B. Mek

Notice of absence from L. B. Mek
'fare ye well' kind friends

know, that it was never the poetry of my words

which enticed you, rather

its always been, their integrity of empathetic veracity

that you: reached out to

for with us, I need only state

ten percent, of all that I strive to depict and convey

for you to glean, more than

a hundred and ten percent: of all that I dare to dream

there-in exists, simplicity in our bonds

time-traversing synchroneity, of sincerity

Love where you take it, places I would never go! Together we truly deeper and enrich the soul

Always a pleasure dear poetic brother!
    Much peace and respect
    Keep writing and living it

    • L. B. Mek

      'Together, we truly deeper
      and enrich the soul'
      Amen! my poetic brother
as you say, it all starts at:
      'Together'...
      thank you!

    • Accidental Poet

You nailed it LB. Awesome write. ; )

      • L. B. Mek

thank you dear poet, glad you liked it
        it was: inspired by/dedicated to
awesome scribblers like you at MPS,
        my friend

        • Accidental Poet

Thank you LB. We're all scribblers in the same house. ; )

        • Neville

          back at you brother
I do believe we are in the same corner

          • Michael Edwards

            It's a crowded corner.

            • L. B. Mek

              indeed, my friend!
              and like Michael said
it a crowded corner, since: amazingly
              so many here at MPS
share that like-minded - selfless, spirit
              to invest willingly in each other;
              we newbies: owe it all
              to the OG's of MPS
like you, Michael, Fay, Dusk, and all the rest
              (especially Volver/Julian)
              that helped cultivate
such an amazingly inclusive, engaging space
              for us to share
our scribbles and dreams, to freely: self-express...
              humbly, I thank you: All!

            • Thekkinkkattil

                Yes. Simply yes

                • L. B. Mek

                  lol, well then
OK. I too: shall thank you
                  simply, dear poet

                • Jerry Reynolds

                  Well written, L.B.
Soulmates for sure, but I have to read things more than once before it sinks in. Red dirt roads are hard.

                  • L. B. Mek

                    'Red dirt roads are hard.'
                    (as long as we remember:
                    "happiness on Earth, ain't
                    just for high achievers"...
                    then together, we'll
                    overcome that, loose grip
                    making our tyres - slip
unnerving us, from time to time
in our chosen - turbid, path: of life...)
                    what a brilliantly supportive
                    and insightfully poetic comment, Jerry
                    inspirational as ever, dear Poet

                  • aDarkerMind

                    an outstanding write!
                    listen to, and enjoy the applayse;

                    • L. B. Mek

                      lol
                      I hear kindred poet's - simply, reflecting
that need for sharing, I manged to imbue
in my humble scribble, dear Talented Poet
                      'nothing more
                      but blessedly: nothing les, either'
thank you! for taking the time
to encourage and support, in such a meaningful way

                    • SureshG

If pleasant dreams can become reality,
my poetry may also increase in quality,
from ten percent, for all to see, for all to see.

But will I be able to write like you, is another case.

                      • L. B. Mek

its easy, to write, 'Better': than me
                        simply, search-for and follow
                        that thread
                        to your instinctive imagination
                        'choosing' to freely express
                        that part of yourself
                        you would normally: repress...
let it all out, dear poet
                        and see your words shine
                        in that nurturing sunlight!
or in you own more poetic words
                        'if, dreams can become reality
                        my poetry may also increase
                        in quality,
                        from mere: ten percent,
                        to being clear
                        for all to see
                        for all to see....'

                      • myself and me

Ink forged? Still soulmate. The words just perfect.

                        • L. B. Mek

lol, yeah took me a while to get there
tried about a million different titles
before I lucked-out and found this one
thank you for highlighting it, dear poet

                        • Goldfinch60

That sincerity is so important in any relationship Mek.

                          Andy

                          • L. B. Mek

                            Amen! Andy
                            that's an important message
to reinforce, and so: I thank you
                            my friend
