Reminisce

Accidental Poet

There I am again

Caught in the act

Looking through windows of time

Always looking back

Places I’ve been

Things I’ve seen

Memories so vivid

Like on movie screen

Casually I’ll stroll

Amongst my yesterdays

To relive the dreams

Favorite scenes on replay

No stranger am I

As I walk down Memory Lane

Some days with bright sunshine

Some drenched with rain

Celebrated days from my youth

Many of them I remember

Growing up in New England

From January to December

The people, places and events

All of which I miss

Guess I’m just a nostalgic fool

Through the past I reminisce

    A fine write AP.
I got nothing hardly from 2015 - not many poems, hardly a sausage! Only one or two poems. No sung ones - ahh, peace! lol.

It's always good to reminisce. Knowing where we came from helps us to see where we are going. Nice write.
