The history we share
Times of our youth
Why our paths came to cross
Our shared truths
My memories of you
Your memories of me
And somewhere I pray
As one they’ll come to be
The people in your life
And those in mine
What they know of us
Like a long-forgotten wine
And still, you and I
What little time we shared
Miniscule to our memories age
The rear-view mirror of our cares
Though you are not by my side
You are here in my heart
Since the first second I saw you
This love from a long ago start
I’ll go to my grave Sharon
My heart belonging to you
For to no one else
I can be more true

Good write AP.
Thanks Orchi.
Dear A P,
Reading your poem(s) about Sharon give me nostalgic memories of my own.
The American romantic drama,
‘The Bridges of Madison County’
is a perfect example of which I speak.
I love your written words in totality, especially…
‘Though you are not by my side
You are here in my heart’
Thank you for sharing.
Laura🌻
Thank you Laura for reading and your compliments on my writing of Sharon. I know I write a lot about her, and I hope no one gets bored of it. But that's the level of love I've always felt for her, who now would be much older than when we first knew each other. But she's always been the queen of my heart, and I can't help but let it show. 💖
For me, dear A P, your writings about Sharon never bore me. As a matter of fact, they fill me with much love and empathy. Blessings to you and to the queen of your heart.💝
Happy Sunday.
Thank you Laura. Words can't describe how much that means to me. 😉
🤗
A very special write that underlines the meaning of real and lasting love -- sentiment of the finest aroma stirs hearts of readers like me dear A,P.
To which I'm only exceedingly happy to oblige dear Fay. Thank you for your thoughtful visit. 😊
She is there for you AP.
Andy
Thank you Andy. I'd like to think so.
Beautiful!
wonderfully measured
the masterful characterisation
of untimely yearning, conflicting with steadfast loyalty
and the gritty reality of raw feeling's, conveyed in that film
is a wonderful fit, for the way you poetically express
your similarly, ill-fated love
and how, you choose to focus on its immeasurable blessings
in your life...
thank you! dear poet
(I'm gonna try and watch that classic again, soon)
Thank you for your kind review and thoughts on my poem LB. It is a great movie about a classic love story.
