The speech was being made,
The headmaster uttering words.
Suddenly it happened
He choked, fell and died.
Almonds could be smelled.
Cyanide was the course!
HE HAD BEEN MURDERED!!
But ‘who dunnit?’
The clues were there
For many people to find,
Then another died.
Another ‘who dunnit?’
The mystery increased,
So many suspects
Within this renowned school.
The clues were assembled,
Each suspect questioned
Until at last it happened,
The murderer was found!
And there she was,
The murderer!
Fifi ‘dunnit’,
‘Dunnit’ twice!!

Oh that no good Fifi..... she was a pooey poodle when i encountered her. Not to be trusted on yer lap, she'd nibble ya buttons off and if ya chastised her there'd be a dampness with it's regrettable lingering dog-pee uniqueness.
Much rather Col Mustard the bulldog who slept in the Cellar by the Lead Pipes.... you knew where you were with him.
Memories eh d a?
Those were the days.

Looks like Fifi was framed to me ... don't ya just love stockings tho eh' .. 🙂
I was in that time in the sixties where the mini skirt was the fashion but tights were no that common - stocking tops galore!

Ah Sophia - don't Andy - that's my adolescence and I'm not sure my blood pressure can withstand such memories...
I have always reckoned that Sophia was the most beautiful woman I have seen. I have read her autobiography and she did not think herself beautiful at all but what came out of the book was what a delightful caring lady she was.

Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Never trust a fifi - like her name she's double trouble.
So true Michael, never trust a fifi.

But I thought Orchi took FiFi for a walk so he could sing to her. 🤔
He did that is why she ran back and committed the crime.😬😬😬

Sherlock Holmes solves another case. 😁
Elementary my dear Watson.
🤣
Don't fully understand the activity, Andy - but it's obvious you spent an evening having a good time,
The bigger mystery is how you fit it all in. To suggest you lead a full life would be an understatement: A poem a day plus the support you give to others here, croquet, choir, men's group - I'm sure I've forgotten something....
Thank you Dave.
I too wonder how I fit it all in, this retirement lark gets so busy!
