The heart of a young boy
On the doorstep of maturity
Naïve of the world of love
Unaware of his destiny
Suddenly, his whole life changed
At sight of a pretty girl
Unbeknownst to him
She’d give his heart a whirl
As if in hypnotic trance
He fell under her love spell
His heart no longer virgin
No surprise it’s sure to swell
As in baseball
A batter hits a Grand Slam
This young boy at ten years old
Of love now he understands
In his born-again heart
The sweetest music resides
Her smile and name of Sharon
As radiant as her eyes
