Muse to Muse

Accidental Poet

I have to wonder Sharon

If our Muses were to meet

What yours might say

Poetic words so sweet

Of memories long ago

When you, just a young girl

With thoughts of a young boy

Who worshiped your whole world

Would your Muse dance upon the page?

Of newly found love

A boy who adores you

Birthing new meaning thereof

Might our two Muses

Dance as paired pens

Effortlessly of eternal bliss

 Written as forever friends

Maybe our Muses

Would compose a poem

Words of endless love

On a river, a boat we’re rowing

And what else might our muses

Be tempted to induce

The magnetic pull of love

Muse to Muse
