Your own life
Certainly, a troubled mess
But when you consider the world
No guarantees you confess
For everyone has problems
From wealthy rich to lonely poor
Whether walking in or out
Life is a two-way door
You can complain of your job
Threaten to up and quit
Then without a paycheck
Your life, what will become of it?
An acquired gift
Learning to compromise
To accept the good and bad
See through the disguise
For there’s always something
Something to be learned
And that in itself
Is the prize you’ve earned
