Spellbound.
Words
stick fast
to a spellbound heart.
Profound
the effect
of eloquent scribing.
Slow
unwinding
art of attraction
stirs sparks
and like silver tinsel
it charms as it clings.
Beneath
dreams or fancy
enchantment rises
when belief starts
imagining.
Laced with
mystical phrases
imagery
takes the stage
by embracing
bewitchment and
will steal
extra claims with
aimed sorcery
if minds are enthralled
with
more of the same.
Wise to be warned
of the danger when
exchanges arise
and love is virtually
paper-made.

Beautifully written - you must have volumes of poetry like this deserving great recognition.
Ah - - how generous with my efforts are your kind words dear Michael - - thank you sincerely and am pleased you enjoyed the read.
Deep feelings in virtual relationships are a fools game. I've been that fool.
A wise warning in these days of virtual anything.
From the hindsight of experience your comments on Spellbound are most welcome Dusk - - we are all vulnerable to differing degrees and the verse was meant as a gentle warning to all who feel drawn into needing deep waters via the internet by taking things slowly and sure.....
A good writing , Fay 🙂🌸 I like your choice of words . How can we truly have feelings for someone online , and without meeting them in person .. it’s completely different , although maybe it could happen I guess
Yes Rose the verse was directed to help those who are feeling spellbound by virtual contact without ever meeting - - loneliness can often be the reason of course. Thank you for your valued opinion on this quite tricky subject.
Well chosen concept
In today’s time when man has become so connected to Internet that love you bich was once a chance encounter on streets maybe have become common through a chance encounter on chat
Well crafted dear Fay
Very true Fay, love must be seen face to face to have the right feelings.
Andy
I think the question is how real or how virtual is virtual reality, especially where feelings are involved. A tricky one indeed. Very well depicted Fay.
