A Muse on the Loose

Accidental Poet

"Matter of Time"

from the movie “Eddie & the Cruisers- Eddie Lives”

by John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band

The silence was deafening

The emptiness mysterious

Leaving me to question

My mind lost and delirious

My closest of allies

A dear internal friend

The turning of my lyrical wheels

Of who I sincerely depend

Missing in action

My muse nowhere in sight

I’m left all alone

On such a lonely night

As I wait on

A festive reunion

I must rely

On poetic intuition

Teachings of inner peace

Believing in myself

Tapping into

My own inner wealth

Resisting the urge

To become a recluse

Waiting upon return

A Muse on the loose

Thanks Sax. Trying to keep my writing skills sharp, but without my Muse it's much harder. 😆

That Muse was only having time to itself, it is back now and all is well AP.

We all, the introvert, the recluse
Need a push, an encouragement, a muse

But I see you are doing well though

            • Accidental Poet

I have my moments, 😁. Thanks Suresh.
