Incomparable

Fay Slimm.

Incomparable.

Let all our dreamscapes revive first making

when tones of a moon-silvered sea poured

molten thirst on youthful excess.

Let our passion-flamed eyelids see no sad

regret when reviewing snatched kisses hot

with furnace of covert treasure.

Let that incomparable music of oneness scent

our hearts with remembered perfume of time

tuned to honing coupled pleasure.

And upon that plane may the pleasing calm of slumber overide these aches of age and blissfully accompany my dreams into embraces of passionate fervour where youth and vigour excite to life.

…and so now you torment us with blissful words, for its not enough to have left the youth behind and just reminisce….

          • Fay Slimm.

Ooooh dear friend I never meant to torment with the idea of a quick reminisce to those days of young love's endevour . Hoping the bliss of remembered experience makes up for any signs of aging - - your comment is making me look in the mirror and think of re-writing some of this verse. Love it to bits though
