Michael Edwards

If the eye didn’t see it and the ear didn’t hear it

how do you know if ever you knew it?

Here’s a question to embarrass  your friends:

ask if their pubic hair has split ends?

Please will you kindly relieve my torment

and tell me which letter is silent in ‘scent’

  • Teddy.15

LOL brilliant dear Michael, I had a good chuckle.

  • Rozina

Apologies, I cannot answer any of them! And a fascinating drawing too.

  • Lorna

Ah and for the first one.... did that treee actually fall in the woods if we didn't see and hear it? So many queestions! No one even answered
    Why is the sky blue......

    • Michael Edwards

      What colour is a mirror?
      So many questions.

    • Paul Bell

Why didn't Boris ask this question when he got stuck for words? I mean, I'm sure, Mr's Peppa pig would have answered them. When I brought her back, the wrong scent, all the words were silent.

      • Michael Edwards

I don't think Boris would even know the question.

      • orchidee

        Good writes M. lol.
You can see the 'c' is silent in scent, but you can't hear it!
I was incensed. I was not angry.
A censer tipped over and covered me in incense!
Don't ask Miss Berles about number two!

        • Michael Edwards

Yes the 'c' is silent like 'p' in bath.

        • SureshG

          By the scent

They are all waxed, as she gets a Brazilian

Of course it’s the ‘s’, no I meant the ‘c’, well it’s the English for you

        • Munro

Lol I like a bit of humour in a poem

        • Neville

          I am sooooooooooooooooooo glad he's back folks ....................... N 🙂

          • Michael Edwards

Yus - I'm still here - cheers Neville.

          • Fay Slimm.

Your wit knows no end with both art-work and verses MIke - so good to see you back posting again -- can you hear my loud chuckle at your middle couplet !!!

            • Michael Edwards

i think I'd embarrass myself more than the person I was asking. lol

            • Goldfinch60

Three more good ones MIchael .

            • myself and me

              Can't resist the humor.

              • Michael Edwards

I'm afraid without humour life wouldn't be worth living - trouble is I find something funny in most situations and often have to hold myself back for fear of causing offence. Especially in today's PC world where there is always someone to take issue with almost anything.
