A COUPLET COLLECTION (13-15)

Michael Edwards

Boris - as a scarecrow - in his field - outstanding

Boris – the politician - should be buried - within it.

You have to leave the tunnel

to appreciate the landscape.

Back in the days of crumhorns and curtals

we marched to the beat of a different drum.

    Good writes and pic M.
No.1 - It's tricky then, if the country is being run by Bozo, Coco, and Co.
No.2 - I would come out of the tunnel, but there's that pesky Fire Door at the end of it, which must always be kept closed.
No.3 - Miss Berles played her ram's horn lately?!

No 1 - Not really sure a scarecrow is capable of sleaze and corrupt policy decisions.
No 2 - so many are unable to see beyond their noses (just look at the comments on places like facebook)
No 3 - The world has changed and Miss Berles no longer plays Trumpet Concerto on a Harp - she now plays it on a washboard.
