Midnight Vigil

woundedheart

Notice of absence from woundedheart
Sorry due to personal reasons i will be absent for an unknown period of time
Thank you for your friendship and may the Lord watch over you all and keep you safe. ❤❤❤❤

With finger tips

tracing out each delicious line

and each

perfect imperfection of her delicate features

as she sleeps

inhaling second hand her hopes and dreams

wishing to walk bare footed through the sands of sleep

and dive willingly

into the depths of her eyes

to drown in her tears

to drink of her sorrow and imbibe of her joy

to lay my hand

upon her gentle breast

to feel her heart and share with her its beating

sealing our love with a single kiss

and again

I return to my...

midnight vigil

Why thank you, so happy you enjoyed my attempts at capturing the fear of love being nothing more than a dream and therefore daring not to shut ones own eyes. 😊
