their world

dusk arising

It's their world not mine.
though now
I have the time
to sit by the river
and watch
time doing it's thing.

Feel
time doing it's thing
to my joints and bones.
slower
a more peaceful time
to think about their world

.            ......whilst I'm here to share it.

the future is our children's..

....children are our flowers
deserving of the richest soil
in which to grow and blossom

.              .....lets save the planet

  • Fay Slimm.

I second that and muchly dear Dusk - - saving the planet is for more than our lifetime - - our children's world is worth all our efforts as time runs out for so many species they may never see.

      Good read, Dusk.
I fear sometime we have crossed the turning point. I still write with hope.

Its a case of reducing the impact, there are many up and coming technologies targeting the problem but we each must do something.

Yes it may be too late for some of us but we must try to make it a better future for them. Wholeheartedly agree with you.

The planet will continue regardless of what we do to it Andy, it's the environment for our future as a race we must protect.
