Twelfth Night

Goldfinch60

Well twelfth night is here,

The end of the Christmas festivities,

The decorations should be down

And consigned back to the attic.

It needs to be done,

As the Easter eggs will soon be in the shops.

    Oh lol, good write Gold.
You read Shakespeare 'What You Will', I think is also Twelfth Night? I didn't get far with it.

Yes how true Andy - - - that is what's called "retail initiative" and it works on a vulnerable public with cash in its pockets. Loving the number you chose today.

    • Goldfinch60

'Retail Initiative' eh, what a con. Thank you Fay.

      how quick
      those chocolate eggs, hatch
      it seems...
      'onwards then
      with Spring festivities, firmly
      in our sights
may we all arrive as whole and hopeful
      as we feel
at this, treasured moment of all-things
      Newly stamped
      Twenty, Twenty Two..'
      lol
      (another great shorty, Andy
      thank you
and as always, Love the music!)

It just never stops, does it.
Just as you're running off the Christmas pudding, you realise you're actually running to the supermarket for an Easter egg.

          • Goldfinch60

            Very true Paul.

Yes it's all over and the house is back to its tidy self - thank goodness - hate the clutter of Christmas.

            • Goldfinch60

We must always be grateful for that Michael. Have a good year.

That one was so on point
Looks like time running fast by
Soon the days passed while my mind continue to wander all night
              Great one dear Andy

              • Goldfinch60

                Most kind spilleronsheet, thank you.

Not based on a true story, but an actual true story, and so the years roll on by. A good write Sir.
