I look back at my life,
A life now nearly at and end,
Having had so many years behind me
Than those ahead of me.
But in all those many years
I see joy and love in all of them,
No regrets about anything that has passed.
Now I awake every day
Knowing that this will be a good day,
As I know that those ahead of me
Will always be good days.
May there be many more of them,
Many more of them to enjoy,
To enjoy and cherish.

Indeed - my first thoughts on waking are 'Ah great, I'm still here'. Nice one Andy.
We are very alike in that respect Michael, may there be many, many more.

A very encouraging two stanzas here Andy, though life's rushes come thick and fast, it's important to have a well rooted sense of joy.
I still, I hope, have many years to live, and I hope, that I reach your most wonderful sated situation, after my shifts are done.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well!
Thank you Ben, much appreciated.
