A security guard from Symons Yat
was easy to spot ‘cause his nose was flat
and the reason why
is because the poor guy
collided one night with a baseball bat.

Hi again Mike - so glad to see the posting of your wonderful artwork again and grin at your great sense of humour - hope all is going better for you and yours as the new year begins.
Thank you Fay - looking forward to a better year but have just heard my son's dog (cockerpoo 12 years old) has just had to be put to sleep thanks to cancer - he was loved by us all and very poignant given my wife's illness.
Good write and pic M.
Miss Berles play baseball - baseberle?!
No - Footy Berle.
Hehe! Great limerick. Your painting is lovely.
Thanks Rozina.
I love a good limerick, and this certainly is one Michael. Also, the landscape you've painted above it, is brilliantly done!
If this limerick is biographical, I hope the guard is OK, but if he deserved it, then may his flat nose be a constant reminder, haha!
Bravo, and I hope that all is well!
Local landscape - Kilby Bridge Leics - and he wasn't on his guard lol - thanks for looking in AS.
a fun read,
thanks Michael
My pleasure - hope you're well.
Silly sod! Lol
Wasn't on his guard - caught nose before wicket. 😖
A good chuckle at night night time here in Colorado. Limericks are much needed in these harsh times.
Never a baseball bat, but my schnoz is jacked from a punk rock concert.
Good fun words Michael.
Andy
