“He must resign” was the call,
The call from the man in parliament,
The leader of the Scottish conservatives call,
Call for the resignation of the Prime Minister,
The Prime Minister that has broken the law,
Broken the law that he put in place.
Then Jacob Rees-Smogg spoke,
He called the Scottish leader
“A lightweight figure of little consequence”.
Presumably Rees-Smogg sees all like this,
Sees all like this if they didn’t go to Eton.

- Comment from author about the poem: If you did not go to Eton you are obviously not able to be a member of parliament in some peoples eyes!

Let's 'Vote for cabbages!' then, as Teddy says.
Yes, we can start a 'Greens Party'.

Spot on - when I heard the 'light weight' comment I immediately thought: Yes light weight and muscular with none of the PMs blubber.
So true MIchael.

Was it ever not so? Why do the party of the nobs keep getting elected?
No idea da, or is it that there are more nobs in the country than we know about.
Andy
when you understand
our beloved blighty, has been fighting
for reforms in the house of lords
since 1997
it gives you a small glimpse
at hot deep rooted this topic is Andy,
I know for a fact, my bones
will be dust mites
before this systemic plague of peerage, privilege
is abolished
and merited equality's: accountability
is once again, the cornerstone
of this thing, we've labelled
a democracy...!
Democracy is probably a myth.
The idea of communism is good where all are equal but you always get that person who says "But I am better than others therefore I deserve more!".

Amen!
the Egyptians believed in
the cyclicality of life's Pyramid setup
eventualities
because they understood
the flawed core of the human 'condition'
far better than our sciences, ever will
I fear...
Red card for smoggy.
Now, I would imagine, smoggy secretly wants rid of Boris, and has stabbed him in the back before. He wants to be Prime minister, no doubt about it. Just a pity, Labour are hopeless.
So true Paul.
