SHORT MEASURES (2 & 3)

Michael Edwards

(2)

If the eye didn’t see it

and the ear didn’t hear it

and you never knew it

you never can rue it.

(3)

To address the increasing nursing shortage

and ensure the current trend reverses

they’ve now created a strategy

to seek the recruitment of much taller nurses

Two good ones Michael, the first one is so very true.

Good artwork - back to your normal style?

Yes I've been doing several watercolours lately. Sadly the site doesn't accept all the images - not sure if the resolution is too high - must try to reduce it but in doing so I'd lose some of the impact. Not sure if it will work though.

LOL, where do you go to think of this stuff.

Just got a weird mind - the family think I'm eccentric but in truth just a touch odd.

Good (sylla) berles and pic here. Are the berles more expensive at the moment? Hence the short writes?
(Everyone but you will think I'm talking rubbish here - no change there, then?!) lol.

Short supply thanks to tax hike. Suppliers aren't stocking them.

Enjoyed your limericks and really admire your artwork.

          love that single, shrub-like
          bouquet of colourful, flower heads
          shadow-less - leaning suggestively, away
from that generic pristine of walled
          almost institutional, ivory white..
such a subtle focal point, or detail
          that adds layers of meaning
          to this idyllic, scene
          you've captured wonderfully;
what a nuanced talent, you posses
          my friend..
          and as-ever
what timely and insightful words of commentary, you've shared..
          thank you!
