Tune: University College
('Oft in danger, oft in woe')
Psalm 54
*******
Save me, O Lord, by your name
It remains faithful, the same
Judge me by your strength, it be
Not corrupt, but perfect, see
Hear my prayer, O God, give ear
To the words of my mouth here
For enemies are around
Their taunts to my soul resound
Behold, God is my helper
And the Lord with them that stir
To uphold, sustain my soul
He shall restore, make me whole
He shall deal with enemies
From each one of them He frees
Me, I will praise Him, for He
Saves me from them constantly

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 7.7.7.7. metre. In the clip is another of the hymns sung at my wedding to KP. There's plenty of woe, I can tell ya! lol.
