One day they went out fishing.
The three Preachers left the cabin
Out onto the water was their mission.
They rowed the boat out a short way
And cast their lines in the water
Hoping to catch some lunch
And maybe some wayward souls.
The Anglican need to go ashore,
So he jumped out of the boat
And strode purposely and with Faith
On the surface of the water.
He came back with his flask,
And hopped back into the boat.
The Methodist need to go ashore,
So he too strode the water and back.
The Roman Catholic looked on,
Looked on in wonder,
As he saw these two Ministers
Walking on water,
Such a show and reality
Of their Faith.
He thought if they can do it,
My Faith is just as strong,
So I can do it just as well,
I too will go to the cabin.
He jumped off the boat
And sank straight into the depths.
The other two just looked on in horror,
And in guilt,
As one said to the other,
“We should have told him,
The stepping stones
Were on our side of the boat”

Now some may explain Jesus' walking on the water as stepping stones. But I've not checked out the distance that was involved.
