Making It Perfect.

Goldfinch60

And the wind blows

But I go on,

Walking into it.

The harder it blows

The more determined I become,

Nothing will push me back

I will always go forward in my life,

No obstacles will stop me.

And the harder it blows

The stronger I get

As I move ahead

Into this wonderful life that I have.

A life filled with beauty,

The beauty of Nature,

Filled with love,

Love for all.

I know the wind will stop blowing

And my life will be filled with calm,

Filled with calm and my love,

Making it perfect.

Amazing Poem! You beautifully capture the undying hope of one day hardship will come to an end. Such an amazing reflection on life.

Thank you Theo, hardship in my life is just not there, I have been been very fortunate in my life and I know that every day is a good day.

I suppose sometimes we need to, or have to, go the way the wind is blowing, walking into it.
Now it's started me off singing: 'The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind...'
Woof! It's OK, Fido. I don't mean baked beans or sprouts! lol.

          • Goldfinch60

We mus always go forward Orchi, that is where our life is going to be.

I saw a guy walking backwards with two bags of shopping! True. Maybe he was training for the Annual Backwards Walking Marathon. Or testing out the eyes in the back of his head. lol.

only those currently aquaplaning through life, on winds
of Eunice and Dudley, in our beloved Blighty
                will truly appreciate
the timing and poetic brevity of your words, my friend
                a great write!
                have a great weekend, Andy
(not one for paragliding, me thinks)
                lol

                • Goldfinch60

                  So true Mek,

No paragliding is out this weekend as it has been for every weekend of my life.

                  Andy

lmao! that deadpan response caught me off-guard
                    yeah, a no paragliding policy
tends to work well for those who enjoy, longer lives...

Revenge comes sweet so never curse
and should the raging winds get worse
Eat baked beans and walk in reverse.

Nice one Andy (sorry I can rarely resist)

                      • Goldfinch60

                        Good one Michael, thank you,
