LIMERICK 86

Michael Edwards

The door was quite shabby all flaky and feint

so he thought he would give it a lick of paint

but he swallowed more

than he put on the door

and now he’s laid up with a wet paint complaint.

    Good write and pic M.
Did he watch it dry? Was that the highlight of his day?! lol.

    lol
    'careful what you wish for'
    (just love your work Michael
and your choice to gift the world
smiles, born of realism's wry wit)
    thank you!

When wishing do not travel far
And never wish upon a star
      For they have points
      Which poke the joints
      And enter places quite bizarre

        ouch, those poor space walkers
        no wonder
they need months, just to recover..
        lol

Hmm wet pain complaint. I think the main symptom is a faint. But a miracle cure can be performed by a saint. Another fun limerick.

I hope it was your paint that you swallowed as we would then see some amazing masterpieces, not that yours aren’t masterpieces anyway Michael.

Obviously related to me when I balanced the tin on top of the door for convenience. The rest is history.
