Singing In Love.

Goldfinch60

What was happening to me?

My life was so good,

So wonderful,

So wonderful that I was singing,

Singing to a song,

A song on the radio.

This happiness was unbelievable

And all because of her,

That new lady in my life.

Bringing a love to us both

That we just cannot understand,

Cannot understand how deep that love is,

Cannot understand the speed,

The speed that we fell,

Fell for each other.

A love so profound and so different,

Different from our previous loves

Leaving us so wonderfully happy

That there I am singing again,

Singing as I think of her,

And hear this song.

'What's happening to me?' one said in horror, as they sang along with me! It sounded like two cats fighting. lol.

I was singing this morning till I opened the door and 3 feet of snow hit me. Is it Christmas again. Keep the singing up.

Love happens when it considers you both ripe to pluck and placed in a dish of togetherness.

When you are singing, can you hear the wrong bass notes from your choir pal?

          • Goldfinch60

            It certainly does d a.

Luckily he does not sing near me except in the choirs for which I am eternally grateful.

Love, in itself, sound like a person. And incredibly thoughtful, hateful, yet simultaneously profound. You could never understand them as well as yourself, but understanding removes have the fun of it in the first place.

            reading your words Andy
            I couldn't help but think of Burn's:
''O my Luve's like a red, red rose
            That's newly sprung in June:
O my Luve's like the melodie
            That's sweetly play'd in tune!''

May your singing continue for ever - but don't ask Orchi to join in.

                • Goldfinch60

I am sure it will Michael - I will only ask Orchi to sing the song 'Far Away' - and the further away the better.
