There I was in the Jazz Club
Listening to the band,
They were alright
But nothing hooked me,
Hooked me into the wonder of Jazz.
But all was fine
As there sitting next to me was my lover,
Knees pressing hard with each other.
I was quite happy,
As I had one of the two,
One of the two loves of my life.

Good write Gold.
Can't they get the staff (or jazz groups) these days? Well, usually yes, as you say.
Thanks Orchi.
The group was OK but there music did not pull me into it as many Jazz Groups do.

Wot, one of two knees? Don't worry Andy - the other one will be there for You given the fullness of time....or rather the evening...it has to be - it is attached, I presume? 😊
One of two situations, one the jazz two the company. A good evening was had.

Maybe any jazz band would have sounded like music to your ears when you’re with your loved one? Such a pleasure to read your happiness poems.
So kind Rozina, thank you.

To say i'm envious is...... true dammit LOL.
Now then, be honest, does your lady share your tastes in music?
Sorry about that d a but this just seem to happen and is a surprise for us both.
She certainly seems to, music has certainly been part of her life as well, she was Chair of a Welsh Male Voice Choir that performed all over the country.
