Missing

spilleronsheet

Red adorns the ground
lonely lady moves  around
Missing are her dreams

this little gem can not be faulted .. a real jewel if ever there was ........ N x

    • spilleronsheet

      Thanks dear Neville
Trying my bit to keep it short

    • dusk arising

My thoughts went to the picture we have seen in the terrible news from Ukraine - the bloodied face of a schoolteacher lady outside the ruins of an attacked Kyiv apartment block.

You words say so much of her plight.

      • spilleronsheet

The issue and events occurring are really terrifying…news to newspaper flooded about the lives of so many who are in despair…wish it could stop…wish this plunder could stop….thanks for connecting my words…how i wish if my words could bring even an ounce of respite….

I agree with dusk,so powerful for such few words.great job

Thank you so much dear Blue orchid….

        • Rozina

I admire this so much as I now realise crafting 3 lines to put up a whole picture is not at all easy! Another senryu to learn from. Thank you.

          • spilleronsheet

            It surely is difficult
            Thanks dear Rozina
            Awaiting to read your senyru….

No dreams... none possible in such a situation. A pure statement of fact. Thanks.

            • spilleronsheet

              Thanks a lot dear reader….
              Much appreciated

              • Doggerel Dave

                Do forget the ‘dear’
                When you are addressing me
                Proof I’m not? Don’t ask.

                • spilleronsheet

You tell me not to ask
                  Raising my curiosity
                  Despite the “don’t’”
Like a child I shall ask “why not ?”

                  • Doggerel Dave

I'm not about to give you an answer on a plate. I have a profound belief in experiential learning. You will have to find out for yourself - although the best advice I can give remains "don't" - in this instance don't find out; you will be much happier in a blissful state of ignorance.

                    Wonderful senryu spilleronsheet.
