Tune: St James' Air
('How lovely is your dwelling place')
Based on a Formal Prayer = Collect
********
Father in heaven, you gave your Son
Jesus Christ, the only one
To suffer for us, death on cross
Raid price, redeemed our loss
And too raised Him to life again
You glorified Him then
As He fulfilled your will, mission
Salvation's work has done
Grant us a patient faith in time
Of darkness, through life's rhyme
And too we pray, strengthen our hearts
To know your love, all parts
We ask through Jesus Christ your Son
He our atoning one
Has made the way to you open
Come to Him humbly then

Beautiful as always Orchi,
Thanks Blue.
Amen! I can hear this being sung in my church.
Thanks Rocky. Erm, I can't hear it being sung in one church I used to go to, on account it was not where they are "at". Doh! Got to have their repetitive choruses, and 3 weeks in a row sometimes. The same ones. Can't be bothered to practice different ones, as the Worship Group is hit-and-miss. One week just 2 people, another week 6 people in it.
I don't mind 'modern' but the same thing is like an old dinner being hashed up every week.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
