While the Ukraine is still burning
let not one of us, for a moment forget Syria, since she
needs our prayers too ..
And pray take note, my friend
while she may not want your pity, she does deserve
our tears and truly ..

I don’t watch or listen to the news .. we can’t forget , because these people are important too .. and we are all in different situations in life . So many people suffer in many different ways .

Wherever Putin has placed his evil wand of misery is deserving of our thoughts and grief.
I wholeheartedly agree & even though Syria & Russia have certain allegiances .. it the people who have not had any say in such matters that my prayers are for ..

Dear Neville, you are so right. Ukraine does get all the oxygen right now with 24/7 news coverage on the ground. But suffering is suffering no matter where it happens, and just because we don't see it happening in real time doesn't mean that it's not real or important. Every war or conflict diminishes our humanity and has a ripple effect around the world. Thank you for these words that should resonate with all of us.

Probably add a few more countries to that list. Sadly, Ukraine affects us financially, so we dwell on it more and more.
