Jesus' words paraphrased:
'Have faith in God.... If you say to a mountain
'Be you removed and cast into the sea, and do not doubt
in your heart, but believe that what you say shall come to pass,
you shall have whatsoever you say.'
'What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you
receive them, and you shall have them.' (Mark 11 v.22-24 parts)
------
A matter of belief -
Believing that what we pray for shall come to pass.
And believing that we shall receive what we ask for in prayer.
A sort of - picturing the answers to prayers in front of us, as it were
And also, at the same time -
Receiving the answers invisibly, as it were (i.e. by faith).
Yet Jesus goes on to speak of the need for forgiveness
That can be a blockage to answers to prayer
Sometimes? Always?
Do we believe? Do I believe?
Never mind me judging anyone else
Whether I think they not have enough faith
No faith at all; or should 'believe harder', etc.
Something will happen, sometime, somewhen
Jesus does not say it's all instant
Or when and how exactly the answers will come
But we can try moving a molehill
If a mountain seems too much
And really, it is 'Have the faith of God'
What can, what does He believe
(and including She, if you will).
Surely it can be anything possible
In His Almightiness
Of ability and power
Nothing being impossible for Him....

Dear Orchi,
A beautiful quote…
“ 'What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.' (Mark 11 v.22-24 parts)”
‘A matter of belief’… indeed!
Thank you for sharing.
