Why my poetry exists

Poetic Dan

Rejection before breakfast is not easy to chew, although missing this many teeth it should slip right through

With some of my nose gone you'd think I'd see what's underneath, yet within each breath I drift further into the brink

All life becomes my enemy and my heart starts to sink, lost in confusion I have to let my mind drift

To pour my soul out into my poetry is why it exists, looking for a another way forward than to just roll my next hit

May this entry give guidance finding a new groove to rebalance, so the rest of my days can be dancing in salads

It definitely does help but not always easy to find when you know this is all in your mind. From the eyes of my child I fall apart and put myself back together! Every morning lol

Maybe you write to show the world that there is something in you the world cannot see but you want it to be seen.
Maybe it's the soft centre of you crying out to be shared because the people you meet day to day just cannot see that you are the big hearted person we see in your words and vids.

Ha....**** that got me in tears a second time, as your right I always try to act like there's nothing bothering me and it fails or becomes just attitude lol

I'm so much better than I was....

Dan, most people cover up the sensitive side of themselves in public. I do. Always have done. Writing poetry and seeing peoples reactions to it helped me with my inner turmoil a great deal. I know you find your writing helps you as well. So keep writing and hey.... your youngest daughter is a jewel, please let us see more of her in your smashing videos - you really do put together great videos, i'm sure your pals here would agree. I wish my dad had taken the time to spend with me when i was a toddler just like you do. It's plain to see the love between you two. Oh and I love the dogs too. Stay well m8.

Definitely an escape from everyday life, poetry has a way of releasing our pent up energy, and get our thoughts on paper or screen can help us work through our issues,, makes us realize things that we miss in our minds

Just to go with the flow is not always pretty and easy to delete, but definitely worth getting out and find other souls as pleasant as yours to meet.

                  Always appreciated

So often the words roll around in our heads before we have the courage to speak them. To find a home such as this wonderful place, where no one judges, but accepts and understands is a gift. Your words are your feelings, let them run free. Good Write!

Yes life wouldn't be much without the crew and although we each sail through, it's so refreshing to have comfort of one's that really know you...

                            love the imagery
                            and yes, we All
                            should learn
                            to: 'Utilise our Art'
                            for ourselves, first..
what an exemplary message to promote
                            thank you, dear Poet
