Dividends.
The suchness of love's fragrant adornment
lies much in the way it is made.
Being tenderly constant wears well with
love for without it desire frays.
Through too much negligence love might
forget care unmet can ruin.
Pretending sucks wealth out of intention
for lies render naught but abuse.
If welcome the true price demanded finds
love's dividends pay with respect.
Why not cost the investment's fair charges
and reap love's delivered success.

Thank you Sir Neville. - - -- Glad you now think it right to be wise from the start......................x
Yes, and yes Fay. You have so much wisdom, I admire the way you can craft poems in such nice and neat ways. Love is at the center, if we play our cards right, we will reap that "delivered success" you proclaim. Amazing.
Yes dear Rocky - playing our cards right with love is the way to get its dividends delivered - - thank indeed you for such an interesting comment on my small piece about a wide subject.
Such a complex subject crafted so cleverly in these dozen lines. So good.
Very good words Fay, love's dividends are so powerful.
