Not everyone loves the limelight honey
some just sit in golden shadows
and boy, do they weep, so often all alone ..

Some just like to play it all to anyone who will listen, and let's face it, social media has given them the platform to do it. All falls down in the end, mind you.

Golden shadows ‘ love those words . Like your poem . I think good people deserve comfort in times of sadness never to feel alone . Golden shadows makes me think of someone filled with so much good but in the background maybe and not always seen as they should be

I keep telling KP the first line of this, but she don't listen. I don't see here in person 99% of the time now - only in newspapers, photo shoot, botox treatment adverts... lol.

I guess for me "Golden Shadows" seems a respite, perhaps a place of cleansing, tears washing clean that which disappoints us. Penned briefly, a small but valuable gem.

But it’s Neville poetry hidden with emotions
Tale of many a lives
Some may complaint about their worries
While others celebrating their lives often hide their hardships of life
That’s how I feel like when reading your crisp poetry full of essence
