Don’t you dare talk to me of passion
to you
it’s just another dirty word that starts
with P and is so
easy to misconstrue and sounds absurd
Much like
your prayers do and your personality ..
Oh’ and the word
pharaoh too, though until quite recently
you
thought that began with F didn’t you ..
Like fucking,
friends and freedom, all start with an F ..
And don’t dare
mention trust, since that old chestnut
is now
well and truly broken, don’t you think ..
Oh’ and
for what it’s worth, let’s all steer clear
of honesty
Since you clearly have no idea at all of
what such
words are bloody worth, or mean even ..
