Colonoscopy prep is a miserable thing I think,
It's some disgusting stuff that you have to drink,
Not to mention starving because you can't eat anything,
No matter what it is,you want it,but are denied everything,
Just a few more hours and I'll be all cleaned out,
Then I can finally eat after my procedure, I want to shout it out,
I can't wait for tomorrow afternoon, I'll be FINALLY free,
To eat what I what,ya-hoo,hee-hee

Been there. Done that. Very gross!
Absolutely!!!!
I have to have a hospital check up every year and the doctor I used to see was one of life's gentlemen. After every check up he would move his chair and look at me face to face and say "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
One year he turned his chair as usual and said "Can I offer you a colonoscopy".
Yes I had that colonoscopy.
Andy
Hahahahaha, miserable huh Andy
Good wishes Blue.
Visons of water, a funnel and rubber tube in botty, as in some comedy films?! Or not irrigation as such?
Seems pretty close, had to drink alot of really nasty, nauseating liquid
Best of luck dear friend…just a few hours and then as the doctor said, have whatever you wish….though do follow the mentioned advice…all the best dear Blue Orchid….
Absolutely spiller, thank you
Hehe, I love how you're just dying to eat. Is this like normal procedure though? I never heard of such a thing before this poem. Hope you're okay!
Yep, totally normal procedure, and soooo miserable, I wouldn't recommend it Rocky, hahahahaha
I'm a nurse so I know whats entailed........trust me the requirements to start a colonoscopy prep used to be much harsher!
I'm sure that it was enemas or something to flush
Melissa the first thing that came into my mind not having this procedure was..................Ouch!, Yeow! and I'm too young to die!
Hahahahaha, mine too,I'm 39 and I have had many of them, back to back once, because the Dr, forgot to take biopsies, hahahahaha, I was not a happy camper, let me tell you
My first colonoscopy was 35 years ago, back in the days when the prep was from the stone age. It has gotten better, but it's never pleasant. So enjoy that feast afterwards, you've certainly earned it. Let's hope by the time you're ready for the next one even advances will have been made, we can only hope.
Hopefully years down the road Bella, but probably not with my pattern for them
I have never had one but I dread it! Good luck!!!
Hope everything has gone well 🙂
It has Ruby thank you
