Into my lovers flat I go,
A flat of many in the building,
All there for those who are retired.
The people now greet me,
Greet me as part of the throng.
I go to quiz nights,
I even go to bingo when I can.
Now they are preparing,
Preparing for the Jubilee,
The Jubilee for the Queen.
They wanted a poster,
A poster to advertise the party.
I said I could prepare one,
That was it!
I have become part of the community
As I have now been told
I am an honorary member,
An honorary member of the house,
And will be asked to do more,
Do more for the community,
Which of course I will
With happiness in my heart,
As helping others is special.

Yes, sometimes I'm reminded 'Whatever we do, even for the least person (whoever that may be), we do it unto Christ'.
I do it for others christ has nothing to do with it!

But is it any comfort, if you believe you do it for Him? it seems so to me.
this is such good news my little golden wonder .. congratulations to all those directly and more peripherally involved .. If I could sir, I would award you a lifetime supply of 'Trill' to help you keep your pecker up and both of ya bounce with health .... I'm betting not everyone will get that .. but am hoping you will ............. Neville
Trill would be so good to have sir, pecking away at all those bits would be wonderful.

Now, the question is. Can you do the poster? I'm already heading down to the poster shop. I'd bring back Freddy Mercury, though, so don't make that mistake.
I will do my best Paul.
Freddie Mercury - such wonderful music. In the choir that I am in we have sung Bohemian Rhapsody and it always gets such astonishing applause.

I enjoy the company of older people and the gentle warmth of their group gatherings. THough lately i haven't been able to join in for fear of covid. I'm sure that welcoming arms were reaching out to the prize which is you lol.
Now one day I suspect your loved one will leave that company but make sure you dont steal her or yourself away from the group's joy. On reflection, I'm sure you won't somehow.
LL&P as Spock would say.
Thank you for your kind words d a, you are right that one day she will leave that company but the friendships will still be there.

Bringing pleasure to others is the best form of self fulfilment I know.
So very true Michael.

Hope you have a lovely time getting your poster done, enjoying the celebrations with your loved one and the community.
The poster is done and hanging in the residence and I am sure the celebrations will be good fun.
