Music Is My Life Once More.

Goldfinch60

Why does it happen to me?

I sit reading poetry from others,

Listening to music

When it happens,

A piece of music plays

And stops me in my tracks.

This piece I have heard,

Heard so many times

But this morning it pulled,

Pulled at my heartstrings,

Bringing tears to my eyes.

Such a great piece of music

That pulled me into its depths

And into the composer’s heart.

Music does this to me

And has done it all my long life,

I just cannot imagine life without it,

Life without music is unthinkable

And this piece brought it home to me,

Brought home how wonderful music is,

How wonderful music is in my life.

Yes Andy music can certainly do this. It can make us feel many emotions sometimes so much joy, at other times tugging at our heartstrings.

            ahhh, those delicate beginning notes
            just like a soothing Harp
            and then that latin, soulful
            heart wrenching tone..
            what a wonderfully emotive
            piece of music..
            thank you! Andy
            another cherished listen
            guided to my ears
            by your generously shared
            and so, fine tuned
            taste in music..
            so beautiful, completely changed
            the tone of my day

            • Goldfinch60

Such kind words Mek, thank you so very much.

Music is synonymous to life, for when played it makes our emotions vibrate in rhythm.

One of my favourites as well - never tire of it. I remember playing it whilst driving around Abdalucia - memories.

Here is another version of the music played by Chet Baker and Paul Desmond that I like so much.
