kissing our toes with ebbing lust

dusk arising

A summers romance.
Casting away the chains
of responsibility into
this chanced breakaway,
a holiday by the seaside.

Carefree beach walks
beside an ocean
which played our love song
kissing our toes
with ebbing lust.

And caves of surrender
where, passion aroused,
cool air and sweat
of tight togetherness
released cemented bliss.

Times of happiness
afloat through days of
the eagerness of being.
Feeling more alive than ever.
