A sense of entitlement
obscuring enlightenment.
Feelings before facts
on others impacts.
Fantasy before reality
an affront to morality.
Social cohesion
in decline and division.
Taking offence
at others expense.

A fine write and pic M.
I think the Age of Enlightenment caused many to move into more darkness! Doh!
Not quite sure how that fits in here, but Miss Berles knows the workings of the human mind, how many syllables are in it anyway.
A cornucopia of sylables - Miss Berles says the exact number is highly secret unless you can count.
Cornu-wotsit is quite of lot syllables in itself.
Ah but I saved an 'l' in sylables - now I've saved two - not sure what to do with them.
Good writing ) if we think we’re superior then we seem to be away from the truth .
Ultra sensitivity and a me-me-me culture are spoiling freedom of thought and expression. Thanks VB
Love this 👌…..surprisingly true of so, so many people
Thanks Pedro - sadly it is.
This is incredible!!
These were written as a series of couplets and decided to put them together into a single piece - I'm now blown away by the positive comments - I am so grateful Arose123.
Amazing!! Couldn't be truer. Loved your poem and artwork!
Bless you Christina - so pleased you like my collection of couplets,
True Michael. Your lines are very real. Your art is wonderful.
Such true couplets Michael.
