Imagine without 'F'
Guitar made easy
Taught by a Jeff
For one who is lazy
To master a hard chord
To learn all there is
Across the whole board
It's so easy to miss
There are many hard ones
My fingers have stretched
I did try my best
My guitar's now all scratched
My tune's not quite right
The voice now not strong
Since family's all gone out
I'll play loud and long!
I'll get there some day
As sure as can be
Will be able to play
Beatles' great Let It Be.

I am learning the guitar from online sources. Some chords are easy, some are b----y difficult! I found a piece, the Beatles' Imagine which didn't require the F chord. But I know I'll have to master this chord and other more difficult ones. Will get there some day.

Lol. Brilliant. I can remember learning that chord. You wait until you get in to jazz chords! Now they are hard. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Thank you. Will be a while before I get there....
wonderfully creative, a fun read
thank you! dear poet
and all the best! share with us a sound cloud recording
of you playing
whenever you feel ready
Thank you Mek. It'll be a long time before I reach that stage. But my daughter who also learnt online is getting really good and plays jazz now. I don't know how to share a sound cloud recording - I would love to share her piece if allowed to.
From a person who is currently learning the guitar, this is spot-on. I mean I have trouble trying to play most chords that require more than 3 fingers. I love it though, and it feels so good when you finally play a song correctly all the way through. Practice makes perfect!
Thank you Rocky. Yes I practise every day for a short while each time.
Great to see you're learning the guitar, this gets you invited to all the parties, and before you know it, you're jamming.
Thanks Paul. My favourite Beatle is McCartney and John Lennon is a close second. Your cheeky conversations with Teddy have given me a good chuckle this morning.
Good words Rozina, learning any instrument is difficult but very much worth it in the long run, that F Chord will soon be with you.
Andy
Thank you.
both patience and practice make
ucking perfect ... tis one o them more difficult ones ........................ x
Thank you.
No guitar knowledge here, but I did enjoy your " never give up" attitude.
Keep on practicing and best of luck. - Phil A
