Seasoned.

Fay Slimm.

Seasoned.

Such wakening this

when song seeps through windows

and dawn clothes hedgerows in

daisying glory

for Spring explodes banquets

of luscious greens

while sunlight races to

split open more.

Such wakening this

to seasoned renewal.

    Good write Fay.
Erm, my poem goes: 'Such wakening this, Around midnight, By flashes of lightning'. True for one night last week.

    • Fay Slimm.

Yes lightning can wake and keep us uneasy - - an unusual time ot the year for flashes like that to appear - - - good to know it was only for oe night Orchi.

Wow Fay, what a marvelous view. I wish for the day in which I can find that peace with nature, and just unwind all my tribulations onto a trellis window.

                  • Fay Slimm.

Yes it would be great to unload in front of a window just as Spring puts on her show of new growth my friend - well we can dream eh - thanks a load for your visit and comment.

Fay, you are like the springtime itself in poetic form. I knew something was missing and then i read this. You have a magic which captures the essence of the thing.

                    • Fay Slimm.

Oh what a wonderful image you paint of my poetic efforts dear Dusky - -- thank you masses for believing I capture magic of essence sometimes - -- bless ee for sayin so too.

Oh, the season brings, bird songs and flowerings. Oh, I must be poeticizing. What a lovely capture of a fresh Spring day as seen through a window. "while sunlight races to split open more" is a great phrase. Your "wakening" has made my day. Loved it.- Phil A.

                      • Fay Slimm.

Delighted that the read gave you such pleasure dear Phil. The differing seasons are a reason for many a poem by writers like me.. Grateful thanks for dropping by.
