Out of Nowhere.
Pasts were forgotten,
no more were they strangers
to each other yet
now unknowing themselves.
They stood in awe
of what they felt had begun
for out of nowhere
they viewed naught but new.
Good sense turned numb
until doubt succumbed as fate
meant and opened shut
ways for love's undertaking.
Beyond convention's
mountains sits late new horizons
of romance if two
boldly attempt each climb.

Reading this it occurs to me just how gob smacking it would be to be at the start of something really mutually meaningful in late years. Ho-hum, meanwhile back to whatever it was that i've forgotten i was doing.

d a I have that gob smacking start in my life now.

Am delighted you thought the piece worthy of such a wonderful word - thank you masses dear Mike.
Later in life it's more difficult to climb those "mountains" and find those "horizons," and maybe that makes them all the more pleasurable.
A wonderful poem and a great perspective on life Loved it. Phil A.
This is so true to what has happened to me Fay and we do not understand from where this love of ours has come from, but it is there for us both.
Wonderful words.
