Praise you the Lord, blessed is

The man/woman that fears Him, this

Be true, and who delight

Greatly to do the right

To follow His commandments, their

Children in prosperity share

 

Their generation blessed

Be, this is sure confessed

Wealth and riches shall be

In his house steadfastly

His righteousness ever endures

The Lord provides him from His stores

 

Unto the upright there

Arises anywhere

Light in the darkness, he

Is gracious, and kind be

Full of compassion, and righteous

The Lord with graces does him bless

 

A good man/woman shows favour

And lends, his mercies stir

He will guide his affairs

Discreetly, with good shares

Surely he shall not be moved e'er

Shall be remembered, forgot ne'er
