I let some breath

Poetic Dan

I have many poems that live within me, from the seeds of darkness I let some breath

Never really sure if they'll bloom with my spirit or be another rambling that brings my soul back to the living

Time has brought change and the end of some blame, I'm now the only one that's digging my own grave

A need to slow down and stop shovelling so fast, to leave wounding habits back in the past with hopes of a future covered in laughs

I don't know where I'm going but like many before, I definitely know where I've been.

Now I drift in these thoughts knowing a new adventure can begin, to keep sailing these waters in a vessel that can't sink

Transcending back into the sun, wind and rain. Dancing in the moonlight of the twilight haze, hours and minutes all fade away.

You'll find me everywhere between the smoke and blaze, lost from each moment I'd never of have any other way

Way to go Dan. You time away from us has seen your acceptance maturing. What will be, will be and you will walk through it hopefully knowing that the past has made you stronger, more resilient, and now with head held high (not too fukkin high mind u) you will look the future in the eye and grasp from it what is yours.
          Rock-on!

          • Poetic Dan

Lmao.... the little seed I never noticed until I read your words again! Yes! What will be will be, I'm try to to hard and that's always been me or so I told myself, never ask for help! I'm all I need
I'll never lose the strength in my words even if my body can't keep up! I'll rock on and on because of spirits like yours!

Young at heart, forever in beat you my friend are truly one of a kind company!

            smooth sailing, is a mirage
            I've yet to encounter
            stubbed toes and flash rains
            marking our tracks
is a reality I'm much more used, to
            so yeah
            sht happens
            world is Fcks
and people in it, are too broken
            to begin contemplating, a solution
            but
this I promise you, wise Poet
when we are true to ourselves
            and choose empathy's kindness
            and wisdom's humbleness
            our day to day, becomes
            so much easier to traverse
            and within Poesy, we're afforded
            the clearest reflection of ourselves
            so we ink
to free our crimson pulses, ink
            of all those wersisome worries
            and thouts
            and on
            one scribbled truth
            and glimpsed, wisdom
            at a time
we pave a path, for veracity
to ease our burdens in life..
            (stay Strong! brother
            and remember
to enjoy the ride, this rollercoaster
            existence, has us investing
            our tomorrow's
            before, we've taken stock
            of our yesterday's
            to insure
we continue to waste, our today's..)

            • Poetic Dan

Boom.... just like dusk you planted such beautiful seeds in your words to me and although I absorb them I didn't truly understand until now...

After clearing my thoughts I've come back to yours and see what I didn't know, the taking stock of the old left no room for the moment and to blessed with all of lifes interactions!

Thank you my friend for your being you!

            • arqios

Do, let them breathe, Dan. At least for a window of time, a seasonal clime.

              • Poetic Dan
