Tune: Binchester
('Happy are they, they that love God')
Philippians 1 v.9-11
********]
Paul prays for those at Philippi
And prayer for you and I
That our love may abound yet more
And more in knowledge sure
And in all judgement, discernment
In good gifts from God sent
That we may approve things that are
Excellent, fine by far
That we may be sincere, without
Offence, but true, no doubt
Until the day of Christ's return
Ever more of Him learn
Being filled with the fruits that be
Of righteousness, here see
They are by Jesus Christ unto
God's glory, praise anew
