windswept smiles

arqios

Notice of absence from arqios
Be kind….
…. words don’t rewind

.

long, top down drives
even shirtless tans
sweet strawberry kisses and
glorious watermelon stains

laughter lifting through the trees
glimpses of sun blest promises
sugar coated whispers
catching in the breeze

fruit bowls, waterholes
and refreshing icy poles
interlacing fingers share
starry nights and lazy days

I've just read this several times and it's left me with touch of the feel goods - great stuff CB

Thanks, Michael. It’s a thought about those idyllic innocent summers like the ones they say were the norm in the 50s-60s. Thanks for your visit and kind words.

So good to be within your words and remember those days cb.

It is one of the highest privileges of having your readers "be within your words." Thanks, Andy.
