Am writing poetry in Rhyme,
I have been doing it for a long time.
Some people don't like it,
They think it's child's play.
I can not help it
That's just my way.
I talk in Rhyme,
Without even knowing it.
It flows right through me,
Like a true poet.
Mr. Edgar Allan Poe
You know the poet we all know.
Well, he wrote in Rhyme
He became famous in his time.
I just like the way it sounds,
I don't count syllables
I just write it down.
I tried to change up,
And be like the crowd.
It's not for me..
I am a Rhymist.
And I will dam sure,
Say it loud.
If it's not your taste,
I completely understand.
I will not hang
My head in shame.
And let my talent,
Waste away
Because I like writing,
What I feel.
I think for now
Am here to stay.

Raven comes flying out of her nest, To show this world how she writes best,
Both her heart and soul doth she invest, To prove her words wll stand the test !

That's somewhat of a coincidence. I was unpacking from a move last night and came across my Edgar Allan Poe compilation.

Yes you are a rhymer and you have meaning too, don’t let anybody discourage you.
I thank you very much and yes I don't focus on HATERS. there are a lot of them out there.

Rhymes forever! We need T shirts people! We will have to form a band of wandering poets called “Ravens Rhymers” , doomed to wander the earth quoting EAP to free versers. We will worship at the feet of Raven and Doggerel Dave will be our general!

Strangely I have tried free verse and I can’t do it, so nothing but respect to those who can. I have a compulsion to rhyme…
