Know matter the price,
It's you
Who always pays,
In every situation
Day after day.
How much more,
Is going to be asked of me
How much more of me,
Is everyone going to take.
Walking as your laughing,
Leaving me alone
Where I lay.
Always doing for others
I would rather,
See a smile
Than wipe a tear,
From your eye.
Disrespect
I can not handle,
I also hate a lie.
These things,
I refuse
To sit and tolerate.
Nothing that am needing,
From you
I'll never ask.
How much more,
Won't someone
Please tell me,
Because this smile
Is fading fast.
Anger jumps right on me,
Yet still
I manage to smile.
I have no where to put it,
No longer
Can I push it down.
Understanding others
Is what am here for,
It comes natural..
That's what I do.
But you never treat me,
Like I have been
Treating you.
Some people
Will face the music,
Admit
To when they are wrong.
Others
Are constantly right,
Admission
Is no where in their song.
So now
I will leave you,
As one day
I will leave in death,
The earth will lose
An angel..
When I take
My Final Breath.
