Tune: Richmond
('Fill thou my life, O Lord my God')
Psalm 57 v.1-5
*********
Ber merciful, O God, to me
And all my troubles see
For my soul trusts in you, I will
Abide 'neath your wings still
There shall I make my refuge so
Under your wings shadow
Until my troubles be o'erpast
They shall not ever last
For the Lord God most high He shall
Perform, do all things well
For me, shall help from heaven send
To my oppressions tend
He shall save me from enemies
And from them me He frees
Sends forth His truth and His mercy
His graces to me be
Be exalted, O God above
The heavens, truth and love
We see, and too let your glory
Be above earth, sky, sea

Deep and beautiful and meaningful
Thanks Jody.
I see prayers in peril as an ominous sign .. I dunno why, I just do ... N
Thanks N. Are you thinking the prayers themselves are in peril?
This brings me back to my Sunday hymns, always lofty and glorious. Always looking to exalt Him. Forever and ever amen.
Thanks Rocky.
