Goldfinch and I, and Fido will be there

Nip on the No.7 bus - it goes there

 

But there's one condition

You're only invited

if you were there in person in 1066

As Goldie and I were

Fido was there too

 

You'll meet us, and other eccentrics

You'll see us - millions of years old, we are

Me middle name is 'Fossil'

Old as them sea fossils that they find

 

I've not to bring any water

Not to dilute the whisky

Or whatever tipple you're having

 

See ya there

Expect a mad Hatter's Tea Party atmosphere

Don't write or say anything 'hot'

While you are there

Or Fido will bark at ya!

Heehee.
